Merger between nursery and photo studio
Photo artworks of flowers, plants and gardens

My name is Dirk Mann. I am a horticultural scientist and owner of the photo studio and plant nursery flowermedia. Since my childhood I have been collecting rare plants. My collection has grown over the years to over 3,500 species and varieties of plants today. I began working as photographer, journalist and author in the field of botanics 15 years ago. Currently, I write for different publishers and run several web portals. My superb knowledge of plants adds to my work as photographer and media producer.

Photo-garden – photo studio for garden photography

Plants are grown exclusively for high-quality botanical pictures on an area of about 7,000 sqm and arranged in a wide variety of themes in our outdoor studio. Our annual production line comprises about 10,000 plants of all kind grown in big, mobile pots. They are arranged in a realistic surrounding using special settings (fences, garden accessory, garden furniture etc.) and decoration.
